I bought this 08 1300 Vstar from a closed down dealership in 2012
It was still in the crate never assembled.

It was my daily driver for 13000 miles
Never had a seconds trouble out of it.

I've been seeing this handsome eastern garter snake around the yard lately. I leave him alone, and he just hangs out.

Had one in the garage last year, The wife still believes he's in there! Glad I didn't see it, I am scared of snakes and would have killed it.

I have one SIL that is mortified of them! Doesn't even want to hear about seeing a snake!

About 5 years ago, I saw a black snake under our porch, I watched it as it probed around for something to eat, it came to the I beam pocket for our basement, it probed up behind a piece of sheet metal which I mistakenly thought sealed off the I beam opening. I watched as the snake slowly disappeared behind the sheet metal, and then it hit me, that snake just went into our basement! :bug: My wife was in the kitchen as I tried to nonchalantly hurry downstairs, then back outside... my wife's not dumb, she asked me what was going on... I had to tell her we had a black snake in the basement. She kept it surprisingly under control. I knew where the snake was, I put on gloves and tried to grab it from near the I beam in the basement, that snake was strong. I placed an ammonia soaked rag on top of it, to no avail, then sprayed some really strong air freshener at it. I hurried outside and watched under the porch multiple times, and finally it gave up and came out, and headed toward the woods. I got it, and moved it a couple miles away and released it. And of course, I made sure that opening was sealed but good. That was a moment.

An Oriole helping itself to the hummingbird feeder, a hummingbird isn't comfortable with this.
