Yesterday I pulled over to let mama cross and she stopped in the middle of the road, anxiously looking behind her. About 10 seconds later the fawn came stumbling out of the brush to continue on the trek.

I tried the pulp inside some honey locust seed pods today. It actually tastes pretty sweet, if you don't mind eating animal fodder
Yeah, if you go to the doc with lockjaw after eating BL pods, you might get some looks...or a lecture
If only my great grandfather stopped in Waco he could've bought the entire country of Chile' for 10 cents Funny thing is I've seen old pictures of one of my great grandfathers from that era and it looks kinda like him... But I think he was running a farm in Bakersfield California around that time.
Mazda Miata? More like Mazda Mi Baja. I wonder what kind of frame he put it on? Edit: banner on the windshield says Mudd Yata
You're right, I did notice the independent rear suspension. I'm not familiar enough with these cars to know that's how they came from the factory. People around here do funny things to vehicles sometimes. There's one local guy I've seen with an early 70s Nova body on a lifted K5 Blazer chassis. That turns a few heads rolling down the road.
I picked up this Chinese 4 wheeler for my son, 5 years ago for $100. It’s been reasonably good besides normal maintenance issues. As I was cleaning the carburetor today, I felt reassured that at least the carb was designed in Jiapan.
I did the same a few years back...only I gave $200, and it had a couple known issues...no big deal, its a Honda clone, and I've worked on plenty of "Z50" engines, super simple, right?! This thing has been a real pain in the hemorrhoids, let me tell ya! He's too big for it now, so he is going to move up to a 220 Bayou, and my daughter will take over the "Hongda"...we will see if it behaves well enough to hang around long enough to be end up being "too small" for her...
