No worries about that and don't bust yourself trying to get the place spotless.

She has to feel "needed" and "missed"...... and you don't have to clean up!

I've been there a couple times when my son was stationed there.

My wife got home yesterday, I had the place nice and clean, she even commented on how clean it was. A couple hours later, after she's unloaded and stuff everywhere, I made the comment that the house was a lot cleaner before she got home. o_O Did I actually say that, out loud? :headbang: I did! :picard: We both got a laugh out of it! :rofl:  Life is good!

Not sure if this is a "random ob" or not... has anyone else noticed that its getting harder to find out where a product is made here lately?
I never did figure out where an electric motor that I ordered at work was made the other day...looked on their site, looked all over the package and included documentation, nothing.
Then my wife said she couldn't find origin of some items she was trying to order online the other day...made me think, is this starting to be a thing?
We try to buy USA, or at least not china when USA is not an option...

Yes, I've found some items to be very murky on where they are made. I'm like you and try to keep my money in the USA, or away from China. I've found that a lot of reviews on Amazon have people asking about the country of origin, sometimes that's helpful.

I have noticed that also. As a matter of fact, I have also seen "packaged in the USA"

and even "pacakage made in the USA"

As if that would have swayed my decision! :picard:  :rofl: :rofl:

It’s that time of year again. Cooper’s hawk perched high in the red oak above my backyard, watching my chickens and rabbit. Unless he can chew threw hardware cloth they’ll be safe.

A few weeks back I bought some medjool dates. For laughs I planted 3 pits in a pot in my stove room. All 3 sprouted and the time came to cull the 2 smaller ones. I found it interesting how the first thing the palm does is send down a deep taproot before breaking the surface. Here’s one that I pulled up. I’m going to try to grow just one in a pot, for a while anyway.

Jobs long gone ... Switchboard operators, circa 1925 ....a sad sign of the times!

Where I was living in 1964, we still had a telephone operator. Her name was Minnie.

I don't mind the switch board operators being gone, as they liked to listen in. My grandma was one for years, and she always "just happened to hear this or that".

A 50lb bag of feed a year ago was already $21 and change, it now costs $26.50. It'll be darn neat 30 by the end of the year. Last month we bought a bag and it was moldy. I had to return it for another, price is up and they aren't rotating stock.

Just a few weeks ago I was able to buy a dozen eggs at the local Kwik Trip gas station for $1.29. Today it was $2.99. OUCH

I don't believe people in America today know the meaning of "Hard Times". The Greatest Generation in the 1930's and 1940's lived most of their lives in hard times. Not knowing what tomorrow had in store for them, The Great Depression, The Dust Bowl and World War II, but they preservered and gave us the America we enjoy today.
