Flood watch and warnings here also...about 1" of rain today...but ground is saturated so the water level comes up fast!

Ground still frozen here, rain will be almost all run off plus some snow left. Don't know if the frost will survive much longer.

Well I know the salt got washed off of my car today. That's one positive.

Yup, washes that crap off the road too...couple more downpours and the road surface will be clean enough to get the bike out on a warm day...supposed to be 72* here tomorrow...my bike is staying put though...its buried in a pile of insulation and drywall :picard:

First sun in a while this afternoon. Had the day off and hauled splitting from neighbor’s house. Ground is soft so not too much can be done with the tractor. Warmer this week, but clouds and rain, that is killing productivity.

I think I will let the boiler die out and clean the ashes, then reload when the temperature drops again.

Rain over here and really not too bad compared to west and south. Looks like about an inch. You do have some lakes there Thor.

It rained here in St. Louis the last 2 days. Now that everything is soaked with several inches of rainfall the temps are back down to 25°F right now. Everything has a shiny clear coat of ice on top. I have a 480 square foot deck iced over and it was pretty entertaining watching my dog go skating to do her nightly duties.

Got out and finished up what was left of the red oak and a little cherry I started cutting on last week before the monsoon hit.
