    you are gettin what we endured last spring n summer....i get grain from a farmer who does around 6000 acres a year....his corn crop was down about 35% last fall...

    We're for sure better off here locally than a lot of areas. Mostly sandy loam that drains quickly in this area of the state. I'm just getting a bad feeling about this summer. Was hoping for cooler & less humidity. Not looking good so far. At least no real heat yet.

    Thunder storms most of the night and this morning. It's good right now but I see more coming from the west. I heard more thunder in the last 12 hours than I've heard for a long, long time. Haven't yet checked the rain gauge but don't think we got a lot, or at least I'm hoping.
