FYI...you CANNOT dye the type of plastic Tamiya uses on these and other chassis. It wouldn't take the dye and it warped it so it was unusable. I had to buy a replacement chassis parts tree and paint it with paint that is suitable for plastics. I used Rustoleum 2 in 1 primer / paint. Much much cheaper than Tamiya paint for plastics.

I added a vintage radio shack Ford monster truck to the rc collection.

 

I finished removing all the wrinkled paper decals and ugly front brush guard. Then I put some amsoil mudslinger on it to shine it up.

 

Many many Kids today have no idea how great it used to be.

 

I love bugs
