You’re surely not weird when you’re filling up at the gas station 1/3rd as much as most everyone else..

Yep, the Honda was driven for work which included trips to the airport and surrounding states so it was all good, Geo Metro was because I was broke.

Back to the glove thing, would never have guessed the Atlas gloves were going to be that good bought a dozen of the summer ones and a half dozen on the insulated ones (they aren't that warm).
There was a post years ago on this forum saying how good they were.

Have tried several variants of the insulated dipped gloves. I like the lining and coating best on these ones. The coating is thin and fairly aggressive, the lining is very fine terry cloth. They are more dexterose and the caoting lasts longer. I think they are 'textured' vs the 'sanded' latex maybe.

Celsi Heat is the name. Task is the main branding.

Not at all, Honda fit is the best subcompact you can buy and I’m sure you got a good deal on the geo. Even a Prius makes a good case for certain users. Now if a guy gets out of a Prius with a red top hat, thick rim glasses and $1000 worth of designer denim then introduces himself as a proho, then yeah, there may be some snickering going on.

Notice I never did claim them to be warm or warmer. The nitrile seems to suck the cold up readily and overpower my hands heat generation capabilities. If I'm working hard enough it's not an issue. I have a well insulated pair of rubber hunting boots I bought some time back. Even with 1200 grams of thinsulate, once that rubber gets cold/frozen the cold overpowers the isulation...cold feet.

We had a Honda Fit—fantastic car. I’m still envious of Fit owners.

Just wanted to apologize to everyone in this thread. I really don't follow his channel. I do not support his opinions. I do not support witchcraft. Also whatever vehicle people want to drive is up to them, not me.

I just found a quick way to get better grip on firewood. It makes handling firewood easier. That is all I wanted to share. Sorry for any misinterpretation or misinformation, or any politics that can be associated with turning your leather gloves inside out. Have a good day.

So wouldn’t that just be half a dozen in one hand and six in the other? I mean assuming that were to be true if gloves were to wear slow on the inside and fast on the outside it’s all the same in the end. It’s either slow to fast or fast to slow. 2+3=5 and 3+2=5. So I really don’t get it. And then there is the whole issue of those “hairs” or fibers. The gloves I use those “hairs” wear a whole lot faster than leather rawhide. So I am baffled by the whole scenario.

Just try it and let me know if you like it. It definitely gives you a better grip on firewood.
