    How does the Husqvarna 440 compare to my Stihl MS290? What is a good price on a used Husqvarna 440?

    The Stihl is much more saw than the 440.
    A good used price on a good 440, $125 +0/-25.

    Thanks; I don't know much about saws. I saw a used 440 listed; no information about the saw, for $80. That is why I came here. I am going to continue to use my MS290 but at some point it may give up the ghost on the strange issue it has of jamming when trying to start.
