Sister is putting in a pool so I was glad to help do some of the tree work. Closest 8 trees are gone, 2 of the largest were dropped by a pro climber and I did the rest. 2 friends did help a couple days. 5 5x12' trailer loads and 4 F250 loads later its all done. My BIL chipped all the brush as well. I ended up with shy of 3 cords, the rest went to my 2 friends. And the last trailer load where the old 038 Mag did all the cutting Saturday. She is going up on the trading block or possibly selling to my BIL. About 8 tanks through since the top end upgrade, I'd say she is ready for the open market. I am beat, feeling it today.
Yes sir, just under 3 full days. Of course they had to wait until the weather warmed up to green light me. Bugs and poison oak got the best of me. But it is done and my last 2 agreed upon jobs should be a couple hours a piece. Then shut it down for summer.
Sure, I'll do the camera work... when can I expect you? Summer & splitting = no fun. Plan will be to bang out a cord a week and get to stacking during the weeknights. Hope to get at least 2016-17 split & stacked before July's end. I'm entering year 4 on hand in the yard's haul and I have another cord left that I've committed to. I always jokingly call it my part time job. Getting 3+ years ahead, it isn't a joke any more.
