I agree that your projects are worth whatever anybody wants to pay. I use to raise meat rabbits by the hundreds. One time years ago, I brought a litter of 8, 8 week old kits that were ready to be weaned. I figured the little bunnies would bring people over to my five dollar table. It did! What I didn't anticipate, is people getting offended, because I also sold the ARBA cookbook.
I sold my rabbits, dressed and vacuum sealed for ten bucks. A lady stopped by, and insulted us, then demanded to buy all the kits. I told her 20$ apiece if she was going to waste the meat by saving them. She paid! Better money by far, and she came back and saved three more litters before asking weeks later, how many do you have? Then she gave up. I watched farmers do similar, and they had the best luck selling everything by noon. I enjoyed the market. I think you will do well

Many times vendors, when they are trying to set prices, forget to add in the price of the booth and all the transportation plus the labor you put in just getting the booth set up. Other than that, fishingpol gave some excellent advice.

Looks great. A lot to like there and "kampy" just enough. I bet your booth fits in great with the rest of the show.

Sorry it took me a while to get back. Just as show was wrapping up, my wife called and was worked up because her last living connection to her dads side of the family had a, as the doc put it "a widow maker" heart attack. Said she shouldn't have made it and was very lucky! Sale went well. Found out that yes I really need to work on not hating to be around lots of people if I am going to continue to pursue this sideline. Did good moving items. Just really need to decide if my antisocial personality is going to win out or wanting to have a hobby that turns profit wins out. When the sale happens next year we will know what side wins.:coffee::popcorn: ????

 = eating popcorn, killing time waiting for the rest of the story.

Yup - need to be a bit tolerant of different people to get them to give you their money.

Sounds like you did ok in that you may set up again next year. Small talk can lead to more business. I've met shop owners perusing shows and received invites to set up displays in their shops. Commissions take a bite out of the profit though, but you don't have to sit and wait for a customer to walk by. There is some value in that. I've also met other artisan/crafters that gave me leads to other good shoes to set up at.

Networking can lead to all sorts of other opportunities. I hope you keep with it. Hang your shingle out.
