This is my wood hauling trailer. 6"x6" with 4" sides.

I picked it up cheap at a clearing sale, probably because of its odd size/shape.

I find it perfect for my situation as a longer trailer becomes problematic on the tight winding bush tracks in the local forest. Being so short ya never have to worry about dragging its azz going trough a gully or bog hole. Empty it weighs 1300 lbs so it can be unhooked and manoeuvred in really tight places.

Here's the hauler. 5wide, 7 deep 2 down. Its just a 3/4 cord but with the back end being low, its not crammed so hoping to just add a back tailgate to raise the level all the way through.

I wouldn't know. Probably was overloaded. Either way Ive towed several loads of that weight (or close to) without issue and it actually gives me peace of mind since it has better stability than an empty one. Does have leave springs though.

Yea they tow better loaded...that is until the overloaded hubs' bearings blow apart or saw the spindle in half and the wheel falls off.

This is not saying I have never overloaded a trailer before:whistle:.

Im likely not to do that again, granted its just habit for me to get a haul and haul it home. I have the wood and its probably just to be loaded half that since the wood is so dang dense. All black locust there. Just saying I can be a bit more careful and take smaller loads and more of them. Will be taking more from this source within the next month so im at a fair advantage.

I refer to it as a utility trailer because you can haul anything you like in it. What really makes it nice is the steel construction on the sides. Also wood floor.
I do not believe that toy haulers have the high sides like this trailer does.

The 18 footer couple posts above is regarded as a Toy Hauler. Most of them have some kind of ramp or winch to angle the bed for loading.

That looks like a car trailer.

I have a car hauler. No side rails, tire stop up front and a 2 foot or so dovetail to aid loading a lower car so the break over angle is not as severe.
