image.jpeg image.jpeg My big, bad azz, wood hauler...

3-1/2 cubic feet of plastic bucket pulled by a lawn tractor. But what's in it is a bonus locust I found laying in the weeds when I started cleaning up the other side of my creek.:D

I’ve got the exact same mower - just bought it a few weeks ago.

This is my wood trailer. My dad converted an old DOT road sign trailer and gave it to me for my birthday last year. All it needs is lights and I could pull it down the road.

Going on the fourth summer with mine. I abuse it far beyond what it was intended for and am impressed with how well it's held up to that. (Knocks wood)

It's the XT2 dealer only model with the better tires and wheel bearings, Kawisaki engine, etc., and... the cup holder is deep enough that my beer doesn't fall out when I'm bumpping around through the woods.

Just slime the tires instead. Then they self heal and no swearing involved, like is required when screwing around with small tires, tire beads, tubes....

    Doooooo eeeettt!

You'll be so much happier than trying to put a tube in.

Is the camera fogged up after coming out of the cold house into the hot humid outside?

I slime all my mower and tracot tires. The tractor has tubes in it with the special tube slime.

But mower tires make it about 10 years or so depending on sun and then i slime them. Those dry rot cracks heel up. Just have to keep it moved every few months.

My farm mower is a 20 year old yardman. MTD company. Hood been gone for over a decade. Got it from a coworker who ran it hard for years. I have rebuilt many parts. The bushings, several sets of spindles and belts. Carb rebuilds and now i have a fuel cut off. I cut about 1.5 or 2 acres of grass here with it. 15hp kholer engine and it is a good strong mower.

Concrete dust and Polycril synthetic pumice have hazed the glass over the lense. Gives everything that old snapshot from the '70s feel, doesn't it?

I'M constantly on the lookout for the right trailer. I need one to haul the small logs out of the woods. It needs to be small enough to haul with a 4 wheeler but strong enough for logs. Most importantly cheap!

Til then I haul with this:

So I settled on this because I can pull by hand if needed out front without the use of the riding mower and I can also attach it to the riding mower to move things around the property. I liked some of the dump carts out there but they needed to be exclusively hooked to riding or atv. This was bigger than I thought, gonna add some rails so I can load up more wood!!

Did a little upgrade. Mounted a winch on the trailer so I can snag up chunks without a lot of work on site. Found a white oak on the side of the road. Only got two chunks as I was only using standard plank ramps to get them onboard, not good at all LOL.
Going to build a better ramp today but in the long run I think a swinging log arch on the back is a better design.
