What is the wood board on this side with the round hole in it?

I have a piece of 4” PVC pipe that holds my fiberglass fence posts. It slips in there and touches the bottom of the trailer on the other side

Yes, nice set up. We have a v8 4runner ourselves. Great truck. Yota was stupid for dropping the v8 option and making it mandatory to buy the Lexus GX if you want the v8. :loco:

I use a running gear for hauling logs to the Amish sawmill up the road. I had a very heavy duty military trailer we referred to as the beast, I think the sides KIMG0825.jpg KIMG0262.jpg were 4' high so throwing 2' rounds up and over the sides make for a good workout.

Use my Farmi winch a lot of the time to skid out of the woods.Or I use the tractors bucket when I'm splitting and loading the wood KIMG1066.jpg shed KIMG0981.jpg

Curb side pine, about half a cord. Took me longer to unfreeze my hitch lock than to cut and load :headbang:

I thought that might be a big problem for me getting the snow blower out of the shed but, I flicked my Bic and got it open pretty quick

I made this from a bomb wagon frame. 1/2" aluminum.
My plan is to build walking beams that swivel independantly so I can run tandem wheels. And make sled runners to put on for winter.

A couple of the sleds I've built and used. The one with the spruce poles on it has hauled more than 120 cord of wood. The short one with poplar on it has only hauled around 30 or so cord.

Probably needless to say , bit , I REALLY like the 650 Arctic Cat 4 wheeler !!! I had a Polaris 500 Sportsman , and it was a good 4 wheeler. But , I like the Meow much better. I was surprised how much more snort the 500 and bigger size 4 wheelers have than the 235- 335 cc wheelers that I've owned and worked have.
The smaller machines will do a lot of work. And are a lot easier to pick up and get unstuck. But the big machines are a real horse.

    YOU SUCK! (lol)

I always wanted a tracked skidder. I guess I should be content with my wheel skidder, they are efficient, and having bulldozers are nice, but I always felt a Tracked Skidder would be ideal for me. (Not a big fan of caterpillar, but would learn to manage with a Cat Track Skidder I am sure).

I want a dozer because they are fun and do a ton of work. But I would Love to have a Timberjack in the 225 , 230 or 404 size and style . 1,2,3 steps and sit in the seat. Instead of 5 plus.
But even a normally stepped would be awesome.
They are making some small ones nowadays that are really cool. 2 steps and sit.
But it would be almost more of a toy , or should I say a really fun tool to have and play with. ;-)

TimberJacks are nice because of how little climbing a logger has to do to get in and out of the cab. Myself my knees hurt after awhile, not so much from climbing up into the skidder, but jumping down. I always felt Timberjack's greatest asset though was the ease and cheapness of parts. You can power the old ones at least, with a host of different engines.

Myself, I get teased all the time for my log loader being a "toy", but I do a lot of work with it just the same.
