Sweet baby Jesus! He’s in Anchorage is 350 miles one way. I’m not opposed but would only be interested if he can load the trailer with birch logs. If enough I’ll pay a log truck but need 15-20 cord load.

For some reason when I picture buZZsaw BRAD riding a bike, I hear the music from Wizard of Oz when Miss Gulch is peddling hers.

I'd take every stick. All of that is sellable to the right party. buZZsaw BRAD I know you don't have much luck selling shorts and uglies but I sell every piece I can get by the IBC tote. And the straight stuff makes great splits for Solo stoves. People pay good money for that. We need to take up a collection and get you a sales location! Can you put up a roadside stand at your friend's property?

Well i ironed out the details with the property owner. Ill process on site and remove by months end. Im taking all the primo splits and my friend will get the nuggets and "seconds". The only thing he may have to do is stack at his place. Ill cut, split, noodle and haul. Probably start next week with cutting.

Doesnt take much for me Joe does it? :loco:  :saw:

If it wasnt my friend who got me the lead and the numerous "pros" to the score i wouldve said no. I see lots like it in my travels and CL/FBM that i quickly turn down.

Pics to follow as i work it. First cut next week

Some cutting yesterday and today and most is ready for the splitter. IMG_2623.JPG IMG_2624.JPG IMG_2626.JPG IMG_2627.JPG IMG_2629.JPG IMG_2633.JPG IMG_2630.JPG Lots of cookies and shorts. IMG_2631.JPG Box elder cookies anyone? IMG_2625.JPG Wild colors. First time cutting any. Blood red chips mixed in. IMG_2634.JPG Saved a couple for milling. IMG_2628.JPG Just some limb wood and gnarly chunkies to be bucked/noodled. IMG_2632.JPG All in all some decent wood will come out of here. Glad the pros outweighed the cons. Thanks to all who voted.:salute:

So no one around there can burn 20 to 24” wood? Seems like it would be worth it finding someone that was interested in some longer stuff rather than cutting it all to 16” lengths and then having to dispose of the chunks. Up here almost everything is cut 20–22”. I believe the first time I ever saw a 16” length stack of firewood was at Denny’s GTG

My friend and i both use 16", plus im anal retentive about consistent length! :loco:
He'll take longer but likes the way i make firewood. He will get all the cookies and nuggets as im making a bin for him. He has another friend that gets wood for him, but the guy cant make decent firewood to save his life. Plus he's an obnoxious know it all.
