    I'd say its closer to SM...some charts even put it slightly more BTU's than SM

    Dont recall when they have frozen over. 20 years ago id be skating by mid December.

    I’ve heard they did some skating on our local rink during that first cold spell. One crazy woman was seen skating around out large spring fed lake here in town. That’s crazy. I don’t trust that lake EVER.
    There’s a cold spell coming Brad. The ice will freeze again :)

    Theres a resevoir i drive by near storage and it froze over back before Christmas. No skating allowed. I enjoy seeing and hearing the geese.

    I would take it. What doesn't split and stack nice would get used in shop furnace; that thing doesn't care what it eats or what it looks like.

    Another vote for cherry picking, I know scores of free wood are great, I just hate having a 10" piece in the insert or the stack messing everything up.

    If I was swimming in wood and had not much time for what I had on my plate it would be easy to pass on to the next guy.
    Otherwise, it's a score of worthwhile degree.
