    ProPellet Hardwood Pellets: FINAL RESULTS

    Temp Average - 270 -408

    Ash Volume - 12 ounces

    Ash Weight – 1.45 ounces

    Ash Percentage - .22%

    Fines In Bag – 1 cup

    Pellet Length Avg. – bits and pieces – 3/4"

    Bag Weight – 40.8 lbs. (0 oz. left in hopper)

    Burn time – 15.5 hours (approx.)

    Bag Date - 04-15

    Very good heat


    This is another pellet that is a first for me. Pellets are a light oak in color, the pic doesn't give an accurate color of them. They look to have a decent sheen on them but the pellets were covered with a very fine sawdust that was a fine powder consistency. I only found a couple pellets that were on the longer side. These pellets might have the most dust I've ever seen or close to it. Lots of fines and bits and pieces in the bag. Ash was fine and light grey in color. Somewhat of a "higher" ash volume but didn't weigh much.


    All in all these actually burned pretty well. If it weren't for the dust and fines I probably would have bumped these to 4 stars. That being said...I rate these 3.5 stars.
