I finally got mine out of the truck! It had been several weeks sitting there lol. But and upcoming out of state trip required me to get crafty. After trying to get my old John Deere running unsuccessfully for several days I gave up. Going to take muscle now instead of hydraulics. So I uncrated it there in the back of the truck and began to disassemble it. Took all the individual pieces in the house. I did try to see if I could 'walk' it fully assembled. Just budging one corner by a few inches was near pulling half the muscles in my body. After I got down to the basic firebox I could walk it fairly easily - only thing I didn't take out was the soapstone in the firebox. For temporary storage since the house isnt ready and I really dont want to roll this thing down a ramp by myself, I stacked up a bunch of pallets in the garage to the same hieght as the tailgate, seven I think it was, and walked the stove off the end of the tailgate onto the pallets. Hopefully when I come back from vacation I'll start working on the hearth but will likely take me most of summer into fall with everything going on to get the hearth ready.

Congratulations on getting the stove unloaded. Just hope the pallets don't tip over with all that weight on the top. ABF called today to tell me our stove is on schedule to get to the terminal Thursday and they are open 24 hours, so hope to get it to the garage Thursday evening.

Received a first draft from Penny on our IS artwork! Overall very happy, but will probably ask for a couple of mods.

Top picture would be side medallions, middle sides are the side burners, middle pic is middle burner, and bottom pic are the andirons:

Stephiedoll , great looking stove! I think your gonna like it a lot. Even the short video Jeff posted shows you how much control the air lever has on the burn. Have you done your full install yet and started your break-ins yet?

Some nice looking artwork Brad. I'm glad you are going to look at some adjusted drafts before you decide on a final version. It took my wife and I a couple of weeks to tweak the maple leaf you see as my avatar. I am very pleased with the way it came out and it is a direct reflection of us, we love the fall and the maple leaf represents her homeland (Canada) and the season we appreciate the most.
Your center burner design, what does that say?
What colors are you going with?

Thanks! The center burner represents our Christian faith. Going with metallic brown and copper accents.

If you ever sell that stove, it would be to a Bill or Bob or Betsy or similar. Naw, you'll never sell it - too good a stove to let go. What was I thinking, anyway?

Ha, it's funny you mention that! I was joking around the same way. We don't plan on ever selling our home, but if we do, it had better be to the bowmans or bannetts! Lol. Naw, if it ever came to that, you could probably call Woodstock and a new family could buy different art, as it is removed from the stove easily I hear.

I have a few things on the IS 'list' to do this summer.

When they <WS> determine the source of the black soot, I'd like to get that repaired/replaced.

And I'm in the process of changing out my single wall flue pipe to double wall. Only part I'm having trouble with is getting a 22-1/2 deg elbow. Not many companies make them.

And lastly is a vinegar bath for the cat, haven't done that yet either.

I'm not sure how I feel about bathing the cat. I washed mine out a few times and saw a little color runoff. I think from now on I'll stick to just vacuuming it.
