Just confirmed with Woodstock that I'll be picking it up 9/16, local chimney guys will be installing and have it done by Thursday. Do I smell popcorn?

Mine gets delivered and of this month or beginning of October. I ordered the Drolet automatic thermodisc kit and will couple it with a fan behind the stove to move air. In the meantime, moving 2 cords of wood into the storage area is going to be a bit laborious.....it's that time of year again! :drunk:

This is going to be a fun winter. We can all share with each other the tricks and figure out how to get the most out of this incredible stove!

    Howdy,

Even though I bought "The Works", I did not ask for any design and even asked that the burners be omitted. Mine will be a corner install so the side designs wouldn't have been very visible. No delivery date yet.....thank goodness, moving firewood is a real pain in the @$$.

I'm looking forward to any pics you can share when you do your Install. What colors did you choose?
And, I hear you on moving firewood, I end up moving 2 cords from the stacks to a covered porch every fall. All by hand, no tractors 0r skid steers, just a wheelbarrow

It's natural slate. Got it on sale for $1.99/sq.ft. I wanted something a little rustic that would hide the ashes and this
looked ok. That last pic is where you enter the house from the garage, so you kinda run right into the stove when you enter from the garage, so I was limited with how big I made the hearth. I think 6 x 6" tiles would have looked better than the 4 x 4", but not available. We will see how it looks with the grout. Better yet, we will see how it looks with the IS sitting there.!

Thanks, that table is moving from it's current place where the hearth goes to the upstairs bedroom... I like it too. Walnut slab top. Anything wood works for me...;)

I'm loving this stove. 57 degrees here. I have the windows open. This stove is very entertaining. It's worth wasting some wood.

When you say very entertaining, what do you mean?

Just watching the different burn modes. During a cat burn has anybody else heard what kind of sounds like a bell ringing during warm up?

I got the bell ringing sound. Scared the crap out of my wife. I have only fired up the stove once though. Is it re-occurring?
