There's 5 trucks in the company. OMG, like $8K/month in fuel.

Sounded just like the teacher on snoopy wah wah wah wah wah. Add in some fairy tales and some reminiscing and some outright lies. Same story different day.

Mom had her propane tanks filled and said her summer fill rate is $1.79 a gallon. I also just heard the planting report and ND is typically either 1st or second for wheat production and the planting window is closed for federal crop protection and only 75% of wheat acres are planted.

We did the same for the f500, extra full set of gaskets, ceramic matting pieces, baffle board, couple bricks, glass piece for the door, grating for the bottom. Any one of those pieces fails........ and No reason not to have a couple of each, when that unit is saving us $3300-5800/year in heating costs. ($5100 in oil as of yesterdays costs).

We had an above ground pool installed in May. We are currently rounding up the plugs, cover etc to winterize it as we are not confident about supplies, availability, etc in the Fall.

More than on the he verge. Although the true believers exist still. There’s only so much one can deny before going down with the rapidly sinking ship.

The same goes for the saws...extra filters and plugs each, chains, bar oil. Zero reason not to have a little extra....in case replacements can't be had, afforded etc. Covid-1 made it clear how fragile the supply chain is.

Glad we’re not like the captain or those passengers blinded to truth… that makes FHC members smart rats in such an analogy…?!

    Nothing perhaps.
But, people who take matters into their own hands, say, in heating with wood, perhaps are more aware of the tom-foolery. Or that the results of the same make us work harder to get by..

45 minutes ago right over my house 2 LOUD fighter jets hard on the throttle came out of nowhere, just above the tree line heading north towards the air national guard base 30 miles north-northeast of me. This has never happened in my lifetime that I can remember, outside of air shows. Coincidentally the CEO of Raytheon made an appearance at my work today, big production crew with cameras and the like. If anyone would like to tell me to stop thinking so much, that everything is going to be fine, that I’m just a ____ wing tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist, and that you know better, I’m all ears ;)

I'm looking for ideas on a 1st aid supply storage option for overflow supplies. I have my ifak bags and I have a backpack I'm using for some overflow stuff.
ideas bouncing around in this hollow head are a hard case suitcase. a Pelican type case or a duffle bag.
I'll be storing liquids in it, so it needs to be deep enough for a gallon jug. one idea is the apache 5800 case.
Being a cheapskate its a little more than I want to pay but something like that I think would be probably the best.
    What are you using?
