    Question ? Ran into this years ago.
    A group of friends and I went in on the PB. IIRC we had like $500 in combined. There was quite a few involved. We hit like $5000 or $10,000 or something and it was some goodly amount of cash divvied out and the jackpot was hit. The 2 in charge of collecting the $ and buying the ticket let it ride on more tix without letting anyone else know and there was some pizzed individuals. I wanted my cut also to get in again on a higher jackpot later on.
    What are the ground rules.

    In New York they take the tax out out of winnings over $600. They don't just give you the money and hope you will pay the tax.
