We have lots of potty books about princesses and stuff like that for her to look at while she sits. Makes it not as bad to keep her sitting down for a few minutes.

For better or worse, I have one potty in the bathroom, and another in the living room (easier for me to get to). First thing tonight she wanted a diaper since she wore one at daycare :picard:. Diaper is now off, commando commences once again!!

That works until they can halfway read. The 22 month old can recite what's on a lot of pages in her books now. She can recognize lots of words even on the TV guide.

Somewhat. It's kind of bad when one less than 2 can read and recognize lots of stuff. No more xmas lists laying around or anything like that. Her favorite books are the No David and a few others in that series.

We didn't really try. She has learned a lot by pictures with them. She asks to have books read to her all the time. She has memorized a lot of them so that when you flip the pages she recites what's on the pages.

There is several children 3 and under at my wife's center that can pick up and read anything. Hand them a bible and they will read it.

Yeah the big girl thing often works well until they are quite aware they are a big girl.
Then it's "you're not big enough" when they learn to use it as well as you did.

    Have fun.
    Enjoy it while it works.

    They grow up fast.
Don't blink, cherish the moments and take lots of pictures.
Just don't post every single one of them on Facebook. :campfire:

Good to hear. Keep at it and don't put her back in diapers for convenience. It messed us up when we were coming home from California. It took us months to get her back to using it again.
