    Yep it is all lodge pole pine. The ends always start to turn color like that when sitting out for awhile.

    Better than sugar maple BTU wise. It's super clean, and it smells amazing.

    Yes, ma'am. That is Mike, our friend and neighbor. He went with us back in the spring on the big clean up job, 7 dump trailer loads of logs, and helped Monday and Tuesday. Great fellow.

    Thanks all for the welcome. Yes it was a very large tree and I hated to see it come down. Haven't counted the rings yet on the trunk but there is a lot and all very close together.It did make pile of wood.
