I've got a mahle top end I ported for a 046/460. It was brand new 2 tanks ago. I have a D shaped cylinder I'm keeping for myself. I have the brand new piston with rings to go along with it. I just test run it on my meteor on my saw. I can get another video besides the one I posted on here before if needed. I did run it with a 34" bar buried past the tip and you could push on it with your knee in maple. 180 lbs of compression right now and will go up when it seats good with the new piston. Asking $400 obo. I may take trades of non running saws 60cc and up.
I figured this may be the best way someone could get into a ported saw without any wait or down time. I don't need 2 cylinders setting here unless I want to build a cookie cutter out of one.
Out of curiosity, what does porting a saw usually cost? I guess I'm surprised to see a piston and cylinder going for not much less than the price of a used 460.
