BIL had a poplar fall. Offered it up to me or anyone I know. My son expressed interest so today ended up being the day.
Pregame pics from bil getting it out of the woods.

He then proceeded to send me a vid of him dragging logs through the mud.:hair:

Ended up using a couple buckets of water and a brush to try and get as much off as possible.

My BIL is building a really nice bar from the wood I milled for him about 2 years ago. Andrew wants to do the same thing, so this thread may come back to life if that happens.

    We cut to 1 7/8”.

Shaun Carr ported 394 is typically the mill saw. It had an 8 pin rim/sprocket with a 28” b/c, full comp square ground to firewood angles. I used 3 different loops so when I re-grind, should just need a touch up. I’m a stickler for keeping the chain razur sharp.

Got em all stickered, just need to get those ends painted.
