Lacretes are nice. Blazers are HOT. Burn 2 bags and there's still no ash in the burn pot. Lacretes can't do that.

The way oil is dropping, I may be burning that. If it gets to 2 bucks I will be investing in filling up my twin tanks!!

I've got just under a half ton of 'sets left over from the past few seasons. I don't break those out until the highs will be 10 or lower.

The past couple weeks have been pretty warm. I bought 10 bags of Michigan pellets to use while its in the mid 30s. No point in burning the pro pellets when it's not too cold out. The furnace might hate me, but so far it's eating them and not yelling too loudly.

Didn't vote because there wasn't an option that read, "doesn't matter because I own a smart stove."

Seriously though, Even if I bought these high end pellets everyone raves about, I wouldn't let outdoor temps dictate when I burn them. The stove never runs full tilt because it is oversized for my hearing requirements so I let the esp do it's thing. So far, it has worked perfectly fine for me.

And interestingly enough the only pellets that I have burned that have given me any sort of a hint of a problem were some "super premium" pellets that I sprung for just to see what all the hype was about. Needless to say, I won't be doing that again anytime soon ....

If you're talking about the MWP softies, they aren't in the same league as some of the good stuff. They were only marginally better than the MWP blend.
