Any of you guys use Okanagan softwoods? I swung by Aubuchon yesterday and they had a ton of them for $269 (the Platinum, not the Doug Fir) so I picked up a whole ton. From my very quick internet search they seemed to have great reviews but had gotten pretty expensive...looks like maybe they dropped the prices because $269/ton is not bad at all in my neck of the woods.

Got about 10 bags of junk Energex to finish up then I'll start into the Okanagans!

I guess the question would be are they "new" Okie Plats or "leftover" Okie Plats?

Im not sure...is there a way to tell? Are the "new" ones or "leftover" ones better?

The "new" ones are probably LG's in the bag and the "old" ones were whatever the flavor of the mill was during that time period. I'm assuming the "new" bags say American Bio somewhere on the bags.

At that price, suspect those are the old Vintage Okies. They are getting sold off at discount price to local stores from the Upton impound lot. What’s the UPC number on the bag?

The "old" Okanagan Platinums from Western Canada were never sold to Aubuchon, not now or back in the day...so if you bought them there, they are the "new" Okanagan Platinums.

    Upton "impound lot".....that's funny.
