If you want easy, buy trusses...That is what I did. I say build it with the wood you have, way more satisfying!
Dug the oak stump it’s pretty heavy scooted it out of the way and moved 5 other stumps piled from the spring. There’s a nice medium white oak second back on the right side that I might leave as it could be a nice shade tree or future headache. My plan is changing with the woodshed ending up on the left side and pole barn going perpendicular to the right as that land is fairly flat.
Looks good Basod Setting trusses is not a great job for a one man show, where you can fight your way through a rafter roof by yourself. Having the material for free is a plus! Either way I hope you dry out soon. Before you know it winter will be here and you'll be up to your flip flops in that Alabama snow
