Oops, I somehow missed your comment. I was marveling at the size of my pokeweed plants today, searched for this thread and just saw it. I haven't consumed any berries in months, mostly because I haven't overdone things hiking or working outside. I've relegated the berry regimen for whenever I inevitably do overdo it. In the meantime I've been consuming a daily diet of hot peppers (capsaicin is a powerful anti-inflammatory) and I've been managing really well with that. It seems that freezing hundreds of berries was overkill, and that having maybe a hundred on hand is enough for the entire year if I'm being smart about my physical limitations.
