That would have been cool whitey. Next time. I had a little time to do some more clean up work this morning. Got the tree cut back to the main trunk, all the limbs cut up and in my truck, ugly pile waiting to be loaded and taken to the tree dump and all the broken pieces of the hand rail in a garbage can. Felt good to get some more done before starting on my other work. Best part of the morning was that I had my own cheerleaders. They watched me for a long time. I decided to try something new and cut their names into some cookies and the trunk. My chainsaw penmanship really needs some work, but they didn't care. In fact Jordan said it was "perfect". Made for a fun morning seeing them so excited over something so simple.
That is some fantastic chainsaw penmanship schlot and those youngsters will hopefully remember your kindness and creativity for years to come- Great job
Thought I'd update this thread. My buddy (who built the bridge) came back and was a huge help getting the bridge ship-shape again. I need to finish up a couple items yet, but I think he did a super job. Doug and Maddie gave the work their approval too.
