Now they have us for a whopping 3" of snow. That no doubt will change about 3 more times before it happens.

Well Dave, it has changed already and we are expecting very little. Less than 1/2" followed by less than an inch. I can live with that.

Before supper it started snowing hard and now we might have 3-4 inches on the ground. It has produced white-out conditions with the strong winds gusting 30-40 MPH. Might have to run my snow blower for the second time this winter:hair:

Around here, I can figure we will get a big dump in March. Usually the biggest of the year. Doesn't last long but it is here. Since you have the Kubota, I would remove the plow from the ATV. You could always use the Kubota to clear a path out.

Just looked at radar and it doesn't look like it is heading north to the UP. May just miss you.

Never showed up at all. This afternoon/evening there were a few very light flurries-not even enough to leave a track.

Thanks for keeping it sown south!

We had blizzzard conditions for about 5 hours yesterday and ended up with 6 inches of heavy wet snow. Snow blower worked good on clearing the driveway. Supposed to be cold for a couple of days and then warm up by the weekend.

On a brighter note for March, which can be, and usually is, the cruelest month. Mrs. Mt. Man has her Tomatoes, Basil ,and Oregano started in pots. Only two and a half more months till planting time.

I hope you have someplace indoors with good lighting for them, seems awfully soon to me.
The basil and oregano will do well, but I'd think the tomato's could get a bit unwieldy before planting time comes.

I was thinking about the same thing a week or so ago, but tossed the idea out as it would be way too soon for me to start any seedlings.

    Hope the garden goes well.

She's been doing this for four decades, I'll trust her judgement. She brings them outdoors daily in the April sun to be subjected to the wind which strenghtens the stems. And then in at night. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose. Farming 101. Thanks for the comment Chaz

I'd be doing the same. She's been doing it for nearly as long as I've been able to walk and talk, so I'd trust her judgement also.
