Havent added to this in a while. Cribbage is growing. Left side is as far forward as it will go, just added last row of pallets in the back for the catalpa i stacked yesterday. IMG_3044.JPG IMG_3043.JPG
Stack of dead ash (In the metal rack) for use now pulled plus a mound of splits to be stacked in general cordage. Room for another cord in back then done with this area.

Added the cherry from last week to the "block" yesterday. Finished a couple rows that had sugar maple and the next row with catalpa. Started another. IMG_3264.JPG IMG_3265.JPG
Room for another cord here then done. Mostly one year drying wood here. Some SS woods too. Maple, ash, cherry, birch beech etc. Oak, hickory. locust go elsewhere.

I was done with this stack last October, but have used some of the one year plus wood. I was going to abandon the stack but in a pinch i stacked some oak i moved over the weekend. Id prefer to put oak in a different spot but i gotta do what i gotta do. Guess ill keep adding fresh as i take old only will give more space for better air movement. IMG_4990.JPG IMG_4991.JPG
Have a mound of pin oak splits next door i can use to finish the partial stack. Probably enough to do a stack of oak heartwood too.

Found out today, my 8' cribbing didn't hold up. We were pulling more of the hickory splits from the right side, had gotten 2 rows out in the past couple weeks. 2 rows of limb wood and small splits came tumbling down. Luckily, no one was hurt. Miz Carol got bumped on the hand...our neighbor, Mike, got out of the hole quick... 1104211826a.jpg

BRAD , anytime you want to come over my house to practice some stacking you are more than welcome.
Great job buddy ; If I stacked like that my piles would rot before I used them. Too nice to take down to burn!!
