    Awesome!
I would really like to get one of those wreaths for my folks- they live on the Chesapeake Bay and Dad is spending his retirement fishing whenever the weather permits (of course, he’s fished his whole life since we lived a 1/4 mile from the Long Island Sound)....
Striped bass (rock fish out there) is his main prey....
And those “fish sticks” :D would go great in my avid flower gardening mom’s many flower beds...:salute:

Thanks for sharing more of your work metalcuttr

Hi Eric, thanks for the comments. I will have to issue a rain check for now. This year has been a catch up year for work around the house and I still have lots to do. On top of that I have a lot of local stuff I need to cut. I will start putting a bunch of fish and butterflies and such into the scrap again so I have a supply for later. I'll draw up a striper file and add that too. Maybe we can get together then.

Saw a picture of Yosemite Sam some where recently and it got me thinking. Maybe remove the pistols and add chain saws then put a sign under him and add something wood related to the sign. I pulled bits and pieces of several old files together, cut, snipped, linked and came up with this for the shop wall. Hope y'all get a grin out of it. wheresthewood1.jpg wheresthewood2 (2).jpg wheresthewood3(3).jpg

I am adding a pic of the custom sign metalcuttr made for me, that I received at walt's October gtg. I put a very light coat of dark wax on the metal, probably imperceptible to anyone but the maker! Screwed to an chunk of old barnboard, it hangs in the living room, where I can always admire it. Thank you again metalcuttr, it will be something my children and grandchildren can tell me stories about, when I am old and senile.

Thanks for posting those Dennis! Everyone looks happy. Am I the only one that notices the resemblance between the plaques and the recipients?

You are welcome. The only thing Walt and Cole needs is a big curly mustache.
