Pines, Pines Galore

    That's quite a stand of pines. This area is often called Pine Hill and around the lake Cedar Dell. Eastern white pines away from the lake and atlantic white cedars surrounding the lake in the swampy areas. Was at one time stands of pine like that here. Have been mostly replaced with houses. I still have a pine dump as I can't burn it all and no one wants it.

    Yes sir, nice stand of pines in their yard. Down here there are 1000's of acres planted in mostly loblolly, with some longleaf/slash mixed in some areas. A good bit of old farmland is planted now as well.
