My son puts finishes on exterior wall to commercial buildings. He recently was called to Ruby Tuesday's to replace a wall finish that fell off because some of the screws under the finish were just galvanized screws. With time, they rusted and the wall finish fell off in large sheets. He didn't do the first one. So he was called in to replace the wall's exterior and finish.

Looks like some kind of ziti casserole with melted cheese over the top.

It's an old picture of cinnamon rolls with a glaze on top, once I hit 211 (next week) maybe we'll have a fresh batch.

I took apart that screen I made for the sand when I was removing stumps and then dumping the sand on it to remove roots. The 2 x 4's from it will get used in the new garage once they dry out.

Eric VW , this morning I found a almost new box of those screws in our attached garage so no trip to Lowe's.

We had 38 this morning so we had a fire.

I had a hard time trying to figure out what your avatar was. My guess was cinnamon buns. Glad I got that one right. Now buns with coffee :drool::drool:

I used them for a small work table in our attached garage.

I'll start cooking a few meals once it gets colder out or maybe before, the first meal will be sausage, peppers, onions in a red sauce but I would like some good hard sausage rolls from Syracuse New York before I cook it.

That looks good, I can have the coffee but those buns/rolls will have to wait.

How's everything in the U.P., and what type of weather are you sending this way?

Out of the last three nights, Saturday night was the first it didn't rain so I'm still waiting on the blocks to dry before I waterproof it.

Yesterday I did use the tractor and the outside fireplace to get rid of a few small stumps along with some branches. It looks like this week will be good for burning more branches with all the rain coming in.

I'm not sure if I put this up but the boat is winterized an we'll get it into its position on that side so we have room for some other stuff we use in the winter.

Once we get the boat where we want it, we can start putting up the work tables and the storage shelves. The heel is back to feeling about 40 percent better (was 50) so tomorrow I'll start taping it hoping that it will help some.

The best thing for it is staying off it but with all the work and winter coming, I don't have a choice. It doesn't hurt while driving or shifting the tractor so that is good.

Wet and cold. Today is sunny (off and on) but dry.

Got out for a little bird hunt this morning, met a new to the area CO (very nice), and managed to pick up a little bit of firewood for the OWB...probably two days worth but what the heck, right?

    No birds!

It's that time of year, we didn't have any rain today and the temp didn't hit 50 back here in the pines but it feels good. I would be stacking but the wife is gone for the weekend and it seems the dog likes walking a bunch so I've been doing that.

Giving the heel a rest can only help so we'll get back at doing something tomorrow.

Did you look for the birds in an area with smaller gravel/rocks?

Yup. There seems to be a decline in the population here. Don't know if its cyclic or not, should've asked the CO. Last weekend, I saw three.

I haven't bought a license in quite a few years now; this is my first attempt to get back into the sport.

I'm not sure on the number of grouse on our property but about four years back I was bucking up some wood mother nature put down, it was in an area with lots of Ironwood and the grouse were feeding big in that area so I did a search online about it, since the Ironwood provides food for the grouse and other animals I'll only take the dead or topped off.
