Back in 2011 I tested the PS3. 35cc stock poulan pro used for test cuts. Oregon 91 safety 10.96 and 10.90 Oregon 91 full skip spun when hit wood 11.09 and 10.65 Carlton N1 9.28 and 9.06 Stihl 63PS3 7.31 and 7.56 Windsor 50R 10.34 and 9.93 Oregon VXL 10.03 and 9.41 I will post the videos and you can time them yourselves. Know clue how accurate my times were back then.
I have been running PS3 since April 2011 and PS 2013. Only difference is the safety bumper on PS3. The cutters are the same. Buck cutting same in my use. Only difference IMO is bore cutting. More info from the long long thread on CRS. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/chain/picco-38lp-round-chisel-cutter-chain/ Per good friend comparing PS PS3 on scale etc. Weight of the bumperless Stihl PS chain 169grams is one tenth of a gram less than the bumper edition PS3 180grams in a 52 dl chain. All in the above thread.
