We usually stop at aldis when we get the chance. Some of the food is not up to par, but then its expected. Stems in oatmeal.......same thing with the canned vegetables...always picking out something that wouldn't be in there with the name brand competitors. But then, Wally world brands have the same things going on.

Well, it's a German company. Two brothers started 2 companies. One is Trader Joe's, the other is Aldi.

I also think one of the big problems there is that stores today seem to want to take back only the bottles that were sold at that store. Picking up along the roads and at gatherings has fizzed out because who knows where the things were bought. That is a shame and to me it ought not to be that way. The bottles and cans should be able to be refunded wherever they take them back no matter where they were purchased.

Here's another one that really gripes me. People buy groceries then push the loaded carts out to their cars but have to use the center of the driving lane... I remember one time in front of a large grocery store and we wanted to leave but had to drive in front of the store to get where we wanted to be. Not one but two idiots were pushing their carts, very slowly right down the center of the driving lane. Needless to say, there were long lines of cars before they got to where then had to turn to get to their cars. We prayed that they had lost their cars and would spend the next 1/2 hour trying to find them...

Right where I want to be.
I really enjoy it when there's at least a couple folks coming in or going out of the store and they stop right in the path to put on a coat, or take off a coat, or whatever........like, there aren't 20,000 other folks trying to shop at the Wally. Or, stopping to look at an item but leaving their cart in the middle of the aisle. Nope, not a single other person in the store besides you.......just your important self and no one else.
Oh, and I had (deceased now) a SisIL who would do what we called the walkin' farts at the store.

Oh sure, make regular chili for yourself, then make "low octane" for the GTG...I see how ya are! ;)
Oh, and your little Walmart game...yeah, why do you think they call it "Walfart"?!
Wasn't "walkin farts" part of a Jeff Foxworthy routine?
