our sales are good, well ahead of last year. But I'm still a start-up little fish in a big pond. I have noticed that the local Lowes has no pellets as of yesterday. I'm good with that!
True that my friend , it's the newbies that don't load up . I was one once and managed to get by , but I was sweating it Never again . About 4 ton here , and I'll just add 10-15 bags every other week to replace what I burned and Steve and I always find a C list score
Speaking of which (CL), just saw what appears to be a deal too good to pass up (and that is saying something since I have no room right now). Just emailed the person and hope to get a come and get a ton sometime today. Will have to oust the car from the garage until I get the stove moved, tut it will just have to deal with it.
Paid for 2 tons at TSC today. Had a 10% off coupon that needed used by tomorrow so I paid just under 225/ton. Can't beat that deal since they are local and they hold on to the pellets until I decide to pick them up - even if I pick up 10 bags at a time (which of course I won't). That puts me at 5 tons so I should be set for the season - unless of course I find a great buy somewhere later.
Started my small pile with some Energex softwood , pellets look good have a nice smell and heavy duty bag .
I'll bet the Ace's Hardware in Concord, NH is selling slow. They only want $8.49/bag of Liggies (no, I don't know what flavor - just know they were in Lignetics bags). Didn't ask the price per ton since I can get Liggies 13 miles straight down the road from my house in Weare, NH for $249 - if I was so inclined.
Ace Hardware down our way is the same. out of the're minds charging 360.00 ton for lignetics... but, people who have no storage space buy from them since they will store your stash and u can come pick up 1-5-10 bags, whatever.. at those prices it would better to buy a small home depot storage shed that would hold a couple or a few tons..
I thinxs he was commenting on my reply , He forgets Ize got a kid in collage............. Pellet $$ = It will be totally worth it down the road and Joey won't owe 50K in student loans.......
