Up the road from me,person has pellets for sale .About a 1 hour drive away. The pellets are Canadian. They are "eagle valley". Never heard of them, even though I have only been burning pellets out here in the west for 20 years.Called the person,he has 1 and 1/2 tons.He used to burn them "when" he had a pellet stove. ???? He did let it slip that the supplier used to only supply bedding pellets for horse ranches, then supposedly ungraded their pellets? Seems to me this is an ignorant person, and got ripped off .
Think we may need to call in a wellness check on badbob seems he went and disappeared. Prolly went to go buy those EVs but the deal went south on account of the seller saw what he wrote about him on that firewood hoarder forum thingy.
Sorry, went on 2 camping trips, and 1 fishing trip, and way behind on everything!! And rain and snow here, lol! guy wants (if memory was correct), 280 per ton, but about 1 and 1/2 hr drive away, have to haul and load by hand.
Very good pellet.. But does not seem like an awesome deal.. especially given your location. But that's just my opinion... Dan
I agree with Pete, but I am not sure what pellets run out in your neck of the woods.....$280/ton might be slightly below market, but you'd have to hand load, and 3 hours just in travel time, and maybe 1/2 hour loading.....seems like a bit much. And I wonder where the pellet is located at the guys' home? If its in the basement or some other place where youll have to pack out out by hand and going up/down stairs? That'd be a dealkiller for me
this highlights why i go see artc. He drives the pellet pallet to my truck. I move them into the bed then we bs some more. Then i go home and unload into the garage. 60 bags beats me up, but with mrs MikeSs, it doesnt. Didnt go see him around memorial day due to a family issue, but will try in a couple weeks.
LOL,old pellet hauler is old 1978 401 jeep AWD 401 engine, will tow a house if need be. I generally only have to drive 16-18 miles to get pellets.
Anyone know anything about Matra? Appears to be a pine / softwood pellet. Being touted a replacement for lacrete's and vermonts due to low inventory of those brands.
