Hu, I just checked last year's records and at the end of January I had burned - yep, exactly 160 bags. Pretty strange.

Don't know other than too many but heh the house was warm and that in itself is amazing as it was not just warm for 6 hours then an hour or more of cool until I stoked the stove again with some firewood. Love the constant continuous warmth worth the ridiculous amount of pellets i burn.
Someday I will pay attention to how many i burn but for now enough to keep the old house warm all the time.. But even more exciting is someday I will finish working on the old house and burn a somewhat normal amount of pellets.

I didn't start out keeping track. Last year is the first year I did so. I'm at least trying to get a feel for how much I burn for a year. The first couple of years I was hauling in bags from the BBS 15-20 at a time so didn't have a real good idea of what I went thru (beside 5-7 tons/year). But since I had a lot of tonnage from the fire sales a couple of years ago, it made it easy to track. I just have to remember if I get extra (like the 5 bags of TSC in November, then a ton in December).
