29 bags here . It's a little bit of a pane keeping count but it gives me a gauge of when to do my 1 ton deep cleaning.
It is a sweet deal... when we can get them... We have such a hard time getting them.... it's a shame. We love them. All good stuff. Hate telling people we don't have any, at times. Pretty much have said, just keep sending them as many as you can... Plenty at the warehouse... Can't get them shipped. We do have plenty of LG, and 30# LG Supers.. Which are still top sellers. Different supplier. Dan
They get to Eastern Canada from BC.. no problem. There are plenty on our side of the country. Getting them "here" is the problem... Trucking.... They do not like to come down here unless they can go back with something.. We get it. Or.. there just isn't enough of them to handle the entire trucking business in Canada. The LG guys have their own truckers... they go back with logs, or drywall or something all the time.... The others are independents.. Puts us in bind... we tried so hard to get people to try these products, (We are just a few miles from three BBS..) and they have... and like them.. We do get a load every now and then... but it's gone that day. Thankfully our customers are loyal, and are willing to wait... But winter is upon us.. And it isn't like Henry doesn't try to stock up in the summer.. It was the same then... just the demand wasn't as big as right now, obviously. The guy we get them from, is a good guy, this transportation deal is just out of his control. A lot of people have just bought the LG's. So those are sales he has lost too. Hurts all of us.. And of course LaCrete had a fire, so that screwed things up too, as far as that brand goes..
I forgot to mention that a lot of them having been trucking Christmas trees for the last few weeks, that will stop this week probly... but then.. it's also a holiday week.. Dan
I've burned 33 bags so far. Despite the warm October it looks like I'm on track to at least get close, if not match the end of last November.
I can confirm that. In a previous life I used to ship product from Auburn Maine to Montreal. Canadian trucks would drive empty from NYC to Auburn to pick up a load to Montreal for $200 US.
Not that... I will be using it for sure!! Right now, the NG is being used... it has not been 'cold enough' to crank up the Harman.. We don't like it really warm, so it's actually the best way, for us, to go when it is like this.. Once it is cold day and night, it will be all pellets... Plus... I don't have my pellets yet! I have some from last year, but saving those. At some point, we will get more in, but right now, I'm not trying to be corny, I would rather see the customers get them, as I really would not be using any for a while any way... Dan
