I used 15 bags in October (only ran one stove for the majority of the month). Total is 17 bags for this season.

I first had the P43 going by its lonesome. Then about 10 dyas ago I turned on the P61a to warm up the basement. P43 goes on maybe twice a day since the excess heat comes up the stairs, and of course we have had sunny days. This coming week, with lows in the 20's, the P43 wil be firing up more regularly though.

Zero propane run for heat here - don't even have the boiler's pilot light lit yet. Probably ought to work on cleaning and lighting it for back up.

    Greetings TT, :handshake:

Yup, first up is more ( I can't get no.. ) Satisfaction / LG pellets, the Francesca stove luvs 'em,

Picking up 5 test bags of FSU @ Homey D tomorrow (fresh delivery, inside pallet) to give a whirl in both the Francesca and Englander stoves,

    After that, who knows..

A conglomeration of LaCrete, Spruce Pointe, and Vanderhoof Platinum - I know they all burn well in the Francesca..

I still haven't scouted locally yet this season to see what's offered, aside from the Satisfaction Pellets. ( And FSU @ HD. )

High-temp RTV is curing on the adapter -> combustion blower for the Englander, the brake rotor is in for the '96 Camry (new pellet hauler) for the final wheel brake job tomorrow am, shooting to have a sticker on the Camry, and the Englander stove on the completed patio block "hearth test pad" in the woodshed and test-fired by Friday this week.

It's gonna be busy.. :D * It's going to have to be: now's the time it gets cold, like real quick here, real soon. Chit will start freezing to the ground, in a week or so. Yay. Yahoo. Bring it on!

I was also reading another thread @ FHC about some TSC softie/hardwood blend pellets w/ interest (Enerex re-branded?) .. Those are also on the to-try-hit-list here. Gotta get a SKU.

    * If you have any suggestions TT for softies (or blends) that don't have Southern Yellow Pine in the mix (wife's allergies), and won't cost a mortgage payment.. I would love to hear them.

    Kind Regards,
    Rob

Hey you guys! I haven’t been able to log in with Tapatalk so tried the browser on my phone and voila. No pellets burned here yet. They cost too much I can’t afford to heat with them.

Rob, everything you mentioned above is a great option. If you have access to North Country those are quite good too. Not sure how far you are from McManus but he has Vandys, NC, and SP all for under $250/ton and that's a sweet deal. Good luck.
