Yes.....those are Okies DF's on the bottom of the pile. 25 bags to be exact. All gone now along with 3 tons of the North Countrys and 1 leftover ton of Ambiance. A historic cold winter is finally starting to come to an end! I purchased 6 tons of North Countrys last spring. Time to re-stock.

How do you like those NC's? I got a tester bag but a while ago but couldn't really test them as the pellets just crumbled apart.

One of the best pellets I have ever burned in almost 20 years of pellet heating. Very hot, low fines, light fluffy ash. The glass stays very clean for a surprisingly long time. My only complaint would be the thickness of the bag. Could be a bit stronger.

They did well. I scored them a few years ago for a great price. I am all softwoods from now on.

I'm actually wondering why Minute Man completely ripped off Okie's on the bag design? I would think the bag design is copyrighted and/or registered. I might smell a bit of litigation in the future!

Didn't know they did that...I guess we should be flattered. Too bad that pellet can't live up to the same standards ours do. This is probably one of those times when you have to pick your battles. We are not affiliated in anyway, other than they do some bulk bagging at Upton. I'm assuming that they probably use the same bag supplier and have no imagination of their own to come up a new design...Looking at the bag a little closer...they really did rip off the design didn't they?....LOL

Its not the design of the bag that makes a great pellet...but the quality of the pellet inside the bag....some companies haven't learned that yet.

Man, that is pretty bad though. I think if I put Steve's Hot Ones on a Hamer bag and just changed a few things on it they would still take exception to that.

How can you say that when you don't even know whats in the bag or "Do you"?

Dang, Some how I'd figure that if someone ripped off my logo or copied it so close. They'd be a bit more ticked off about it!! ;)

Douglas Middleton ....not that I put a lot of stock in PFI but I just noticed Okie's/Viridis isn't a member?

I'm not sure if it was Okie's but I remember reading that at least one pellet dealer dropped out because PFI standards were/are useless.
