HD in Oxford has freedom fuel. I looked up Steve's fine review of them and decided to pass, given the 2-star rating.
I remember getting packed up to spend a few days at my husband's camp in Oct 2013. I had a feeling it might be the last time I was there, and a year later, we sold it. Very strange feelings. How does it feel for you to have bought your last bag of pellets?
sometimes sad sometimes exciting. grew up on Long Island 29yrs, Ohio 25 years, hopefully 30 on St Croix. we are only here for a short time and I plan on having a good time. I do not want to look back someday and say I wish I would of. or say when I retire and die before I get to do it. Maybe in 10 years I will pick something else, time will tell. I have moved about every 8 years or so. short attention span and have to have something to keep my brain occupied. I am a builder and have to constantly be building something to be content. so the St Croix home might be a stepping stone to something else, although I am aging slightly.
If you feel the need to continue to buy pellets...just order them and I will pick them up and put them to good use for you.
Took a spin through the TSC parking lot on the way home tonight and they had 3 different brands on hand: MM, GS, and O'Malleys.
Ours has been getting GS, But selling out rather quickly. Normally they wouldn't sell out as fast. Hopefully as the weather warms they'll actually get something decent and stay in stock long enough for us to grab some. Don't really need any now, But wouldn't mind starting to build next seasons stash. CT pellet sent out an email on the spring deals. Usually they start about now. But with the crunch, Its going to be delayed. I bet the prices are out of my league anyway!!
I stopped at TSC on Monday and they had a pallet of TSC brand (MWP) open in the parking lot and that was going quickly. I did not go around back to see how many pallets they had but there were none inside the store.
TSC near me ALWAYS has a display skid of pellets at the entrance. Even in the summer time (There are 7 pellet mills within 150 miles=the land of plenty.) That disappeared about 6 weeks ago. I'm assuming it was sold,,, not moved. Yesterday I was there and there was another skid in its place. Me thinx with the warmer weather ,,,, the heat is off(pun intended) pellet sales.
