Room, who needs stinkin' room, 3 ton or more can fit into less than a 4' x 8' space. Get the junk (this may include the bucket of bolts you call your car, or snowmobile, atv, riding lawn mower, snow blower, and other assorted stuff aka toys) out of the garage. Put the pellets in. Don't ask about my suggestions for clearing space inside the house as your boss might take great exception and toss you out on your butt.

Enough keyboard time, it is time to bring pellets in from my garage.

Well, I always said that the car/truck belongs in the garage not other stuff. When it started closing in on the vehicles that's when it was time for a shed. :)

But, my house/2 car garage was built in 1994 when vehicles were getting smaller and they should have made the whole garage 4-6 feet wider and doors another foot wider as a current full size truck is way too tight.

Well I was using my front farmers porch to store about half a ton, until some ferrell cat was using them as a toilet. I still burned them.

You know, oil is still down in price. If you compare oil to pellets at the $5.50 a bag range, can you turn the furnace on and turn down the pellet stove. I paid $2.21 for oil. I still have to have hot water so that price seemed good to me. Now we are having some sub zero weather. Seems reasonable to let the furnace run some and keep the pellet burning on low to med.

IMO I don't think there was a pellet shortage this season, all the TSC 's near me have pellets . I think that there are some spot shortages of certain brands ,in some areas . If you need pellets I think you can find them ,may not be your favorite brand or at a price you like ,but they are out there.

Honestly, I haven't even looked yet. It takes things a while to get to the front part of my brain.

Nice score. How much is a little pricey, exactly? Wondering if those Northern pellets are actually Cubex sold under a different brand name?

We're a little early yet, but this is similar to how the past season ended. There was a period of time where pellets were hard to come by and then slam - Green Supremes as far as the eye could see! Every Lowes in this region was getting truckload after truckload of them, like some kind of terrible wood pellet grand finale!
