Stopped by one of the local Home Depot's on Sunday night. Not sure when they got pellets in, but they apparently put several tons out by the front door - those were gone. Ended up finding two partial tons under cover, but outside. Nation's Choice. Picked up 10 bags.
Called the local HD today to see what flavors they had in stock. Much to my surprise, they were out! I stopped by TSC a little later and they had their brand in stock but the sales girl didn't know who made them. They didn't have much if any inventory outside, though.
Don't forget the BBQ stuff, I think I told folks what happens at the big boxes, it goes like this every year.
Yes!! They had all the grills and accessories out as well. I passed on those too. Need some grass seed but I buy that from a local shop.
Good call! That's a tough pill to swallow, considering the ones we just got at TSC for $4.99/bag a few weeks ago! I like how TSC charges a lower price for softwood pellets. Whoa! Check out all those new smileys!
No pellets at HD today, But man if you rock salt or calcium chloride? Lowes had a big sign saying they had them. GS and NA's though. Didn't botter looking for the prices! TSC still has the ones I snagged a while back. We have been grabbin a few bags here and there. If they still have em in a few week's? Seeing the same thing around here Jay. Some places are out and the ones that do have them are Green Supremes and North Americans galore. Like IHP said, some of the HDs have AWF Softies, but at $5.58/bag, they can keep them! Turning out to be a real stinker, feel bad for the folks that buy their fuel week to week all season.
