WOW! Twenty percent (plus) increases?!?!? That's ugly! I have PECO and they made it pretty clear that they want to generate less power. They want people to go elsewhere for their power generator, which I did. I am supposed to have a locked in rate for some period of time - can't remember how long.

I switched to geothermal a few years ago. Course, no sooner did I switch and the price of natural gas dropped. Also, when I first switched, PECO would charge a 50% rate after the first 500 used. That's gone too. I can really make some poor decisions.... Pun intended.

    Electric companies are the devil.

I still don't think the ROI is there for PV for me. I probably won't live here 30 years, probably not even 10 more years. and by then, the technology i have on the roof will be a game boy in the dawn of the xbox that no one wants....

My next (and hopefully final) house is going to not be in this state. It's going to be built based on the lessons learned over the past 10 years of condo/house ownership.
South carloina and texas are current top contenders.

I stopped in and depleted your White Xmas supply by 1. I was very happy to find some Octoberfest on the shelf too, so I grabbed one of those also! Sorry I missed you, Merry Xmas.

Sorry I missed you also!! I cut out early to cook. I always horde the sesaonals ad put them out later for my regulars. They seem to enjoy them. I held a couple cases of later summer brew also!!

Took some time to hit the boxes yesterday. HD and TSC had North Americans and loads of them. Lowes had Gt platinums and were supposed to get another couple truck loads shortly. Price is still over $5/bag, But at least they are rolling in.

Now if I can just get some of the better chit, I'd add a ton now that I got some extra room!!

Did you snoop around TSC to see if they had any other brands?

All I could spot was NA's. I counted 32 tons including the 1 opened by the door.

Looks like lowes dropped the price on the Gt's. Down to 6.25 per bag online, what a bargain!! Thanks Lowes.

That's strange. All the TSCs around here have been carrying 3-5 different brands at a time this season! We must be in the wood pellet capitol of NE?

Thanks for the tip, still too expensive though. I was just thinking about those GTs. We laugh about how they were charging $7/bag until now. I continue to get pretty regular updates from Robbie about shipments to Lowes stores around here, so apparently there are people out there who were paying $350/ton for those pellets! Yikes? Notice they are still charging $5.58 for their "run of the mill" pellets. Wonder when they will drop to $5.19 or lower to compete with HD and TSC?

Drove by the local Hearth Shop last week. They had zero pallets of pellets. They might have had a few bags here and there, but they store the pallets in the yard and the yard was empty.
