TSC 10% off sale ends today. Just think, buy a ton at $199 and the $20 you will save with that coupon will pay for the steaks your gonna grill for dinner. See, you just gotta get a little inventive with your reasoning.

After smelling some Blackstones I just traded for today I'm seriously considering how I can fit another ton inside. For being hardwoods they certainly do have a strong pine tree smell to me; and rarely do pellets smell much like any kind of wood to me - they smell more like cardboard (except the Vermont's I got last year). If they burn half as nice as they smell, they would be more than worth $200/ton.

I would have to pick them up 25 bags at a time (no delivery, not from a pellet dealer), so that kind of says I can't keep them outside. Don't have enough room in garage for another pallet - but do have enough for half a pallet. Hmm, cut pallet in half, put in front of Oakies and start stacking.

I am so right now. With this neck issue, and a garage bay used up with stuff from my moms (emptying the house), cant move what is needed to make room to get another 2 tons. Maybe in a month.
So bogieb's stash (as is Dr F's) is safe from me.

Sorry about the neck issue - but my stash is safe between being on video and my raging attack pug (in my avatar). Hes like the bunny in Holy Grail. looks cute and cuddly but mess with the stash and good luck!

I was at home depot today, pellet still 199. They arent looking that great anymore. The load i got was nice and dry, but whats in stock now i have my doubts. I saw some moisture beads under the plastic wrap, but also dirt under the plastic. like mud got in there.

I didnt look at the ones they have in the back of the yard, just the few tons they have on display in front of the store. maybe just the display got messed up.

Im heading to TSC tomorrow to pick up my new tiller. Never been there there. I'll also pick up a few bags of whatever they have just to try them out.

Stopped at TSC on Sunday for some woodpecker suet and there is a pallet with exactly 25 bags of MWP sitting right there. My MWP stash was getting low anyway, so next thing you know they're in the back of my truck. $90 for the lot, after 10% off coupon. These are the new ones with the compression flow technology too, so that's fortunate.

nifty. compressing wood fibers into neat little pellets. whodathunk?

now they dont have to use miniature chainsaws to carve the pellets from splits.

Once you burn pellets with compression flow technology you will never burn anything else.

Next time you are at TSC have a little fun. Ask the salesperson to describe what that is exactly.

Oh no! Not a single brand of the pellets I have say they have compression flow technology - I'm stuck with a bunch of obsolete tech pellets. The shame, the shame!
