 I just got inside from sitting in the truck bed to eye the 5th wheel hitch. Ooops, guess he dented my tailgate trying to do it himself (cannot get under hitch with tailgate down). Guess my truck finally looks like a real Wyoming truck  :lol:after almost 4 years, front driver door was blown backwards in 90 mph gusts:eek: looking for lost Blondie dog in Jan 2014 and now a dent (small) in my tailgate

Rear camera appears to be an excellent Christmas gift idea :dex:

    Amen to that.

As a nation, we could fire all the senators, congressmen, both at the state and federal level and board up the halls they meet in for 5 years at a time and not be any worse for it.

We are simply over run with legislation that does little if anything except wastes taxpayer $$$$ on those who churn this stuff out.

    Arrrrrrgh

Cloudy and cool this morning with temp at 54 F and 88% humidity.

Heavy marine push last night ahead of an approaching low pressure system.

The R word is in the forecast :D

Jay, have you gone in to pay the excise tax on you new ride? I nearly fainted, even after they did the carry over from the other car I was trading in. I've had this car now for 5 years so the excise tax is way down from the first time. Tax and registration here in Maine will run very high for most any new car.

I'll get the big bill come next August. All I had to pay now was sales tax.

Enjoyed the new ride and took the long way home. Stopped off and did a lil shopping. Had to get a new travel cup as mine didn't fit in the cup holder. :loco:  While I was there I picked up some instant detailer and some microfiber cloths. Had to whip off all the finger prints from my work mates poking at it. They think its funny and do it to all the new rides we get.

Got some of the dodads figure out. Found out how to shut off the traction control. Not as easy as the Fusion takes a couple a pages to find the setting. It turns it off until you select on or restart. Google was a big help for some of these features. Now just need register with Ford/sync ect. and then to sync my phone.

They should have made the message center voice controlled like the sync center. Ahh well. Its not that complicated.

Nice! Gotz to keep the new rides purty....I did the same thing. Griot's Garage instant detailer, and a pack of about 10 micro-fiber cloths.....they work so well, and come clean in the washer.

The weather she be a changin.

    Rain is a commin today.

Looking like tomorrow and Friday be wet too.

Temps look to be quit a bit below normal for the next few days as well.

If the weather prognosticators are correct I am seeing a small fire in the very near future.

Thinking about getting the stoves ready to go.

Maybe today or tomorrow I will get the big Whit cleaned out and ready to roll.

Real happy to see the hot weather go away.

Sadly, here in Western Oregon we have two seasons, COLD AND WET, then, HOT AND DRY

Fall can be nice with crisp cool mornings and clear mild afternoons, but those days don't last long.

Here at the ranch we are on top of a 1250 Foot ridge in the northern reaches of the Willamette valley and when the storms start we are in the clouds most of the time.

    DRIP DRIP DRIP.

North side of the car turns green if ya don't move it often enough.
