    I can't tolerate anything moving fast. Now I can't stand the smells at the fairs. So I just stay home. Going to sit by the ocean and watch the tide is about as exciting as I like it. There is a road in Acadia National Park called the Loop. Love to go along on that with occasional stops to take in the views.

    I became a Grampa last night. It was a painless transition:thumbs::cool: Meet Landon, 7lbs 15 oz. my one and probably only grandson, as both mom and dad are in their mid 30's.

    Congratulations artc !! And don't think that because they're in mid-30's that it's the last one.....my younger daughter was born when I was 41, and my ex was a few years older than that.

    Being a grandparent is way cool for sure.

    We have two grandsons, one 5 and one 9 yo
    The 9 year old is getting interesting now:thumbs:

    My daughter is 34 now and it seems like it was just yesterday that she was basket size.

    Was HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT yesterday at 100 F and maybe get to 101-103 today and Saturday. ARRRRRRRRGH

    At least the humidity is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay low

    Was far nicer a week or so ago when we had a little fire in the stove and it rained:yes:
