    Our daughters are up from NC for a week or so before school starts one is a teacher the other is a student finishing up her LPN to RN program , been waiting for our son to get home , but a lot paper work BS to get processed out of Fort Benning then off to his next duty station for 3 years in Germany hoping that all of us can be together before he goes

    Larry I think he is after this tour in Germany he'll have 10 years in half way to the pension . He likes the Army he knows how to deal with all the BS and the Army likes him . I'm encouraging him to continue , it's frightening as a parent knowing that he could be put in harms way at any time , but people die every day driving to work , just try to keep it in perspective , I know you get it my friend .

    Lawn just greened back up some here from the rain this past week, if I mow it, it will burn again.. Bees are loving all the clover, gotta watch your step going out to the garden beds though.

    I had two daughter who served, plus two son in laws. One is on a career path and is a Lt.Col.
    Encourage your son to get a degree while he is in. The Army pays for it. Once he gets out, he'll have a decent check and health care. With a decent, non labor job, he'll be set for the rest of his year. School teacher comes to mind as a nice job for a military man.

    Got a minor project done - changed the bathroom fan switch to a timer. Hey, that's two "electrical" jobs I've completed without sparks or big kabooms AND everything works as it should (the other was moving the vanity light box over a couple of weeks ago). And, here is proof
